Dec 19, 2019 路 If the pump isn鈥檛 working, turn the power off and access the bottom of the washer reservoir. It may be that the electrical connections are covered in dirt and grime, in which case a simple clean could solve the issue. If not, you鈥檒l need to unplug the motor and pump from the reservoir casing, which is normally attached with a couple of screws.

Jul 11, 2023 路 Now I am left with a windshield washer system that does anything but 'wash my windshield'. I figured that the pump was the problem and I started sourcing new pumps online. Different online vendors offered the same SIEMENS / VDO pump for about $30 (plus S/H) so I figured that for about $35-40 I could have my windshield washer system working again.
May 20, 2017 路 There is only one screen wash pump, it rotates clockwise to do the front screen and anti-clockwise to do the rear screen. The switch lever does not operate the screenwash pump directly, it sends the comand to the BCM which in turn operates the pump in which ever direction that you have selected (front or rear).
